LEARNING TRAINING ACTIVITY IN VIENNA

LEARNING TRAINING ACTIVITY IN VIENNA

The MADE Learning Teaching and Training Activity (LTTA) took place between 21 and 25 October 2019 in Vienna and was organised and hosted by equalizent. 25 participants, deaf and hearing young trainers, from 6 partner countries met in Vienna to learn and share methods and techniques for training young Deaf people to become museum guides.

The training was held exclusively in International Sign Language providing barrier-free communication. The methodology used during the training combined face-to-face lessons and self-study activity in the museums, analyzing in mixed-groups different museums and exhibitions.

Now, trainers are ready to start working on the MADE curriculum and training materials, so to be able to train Deaf youth to become museum guides!
